Bio
Nick was appointed to the Committee as a Public Interest Representative (Lay Member).
During a 33 year Army career he gained wide experience of working at high levels in MoD and across other Government Departments dealing with the widest range of subjects including operations, media and recruiting.
He served internationally in a variety of locations during his career and his final posting was in the Army Inspectorate providing assurance to the Head of Army on matters that posed a risk to life, reputation or capability.
Since moving to work at Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) in 2020 he has been responsible for providing assurance activities linked to the Science and Technology capabilities that reside within Dstl.
Mr Richardson's appointment as a member of the COT expires on 28th February 2027.
